倍受世人瞩目的赫尔辛基田径世锦赛已落下帷幕，但有另外一个理由值得我们继续关注
芬兰，那就是名为“Sounds Like Suomi”的电子音乐巡演将再次从芬兰首都赫尔辛基把一
份律动和试验性音景带到中国！由芬兰政府文化机构赞助倡导的此次巡回音乐节将于2005
年9月17日登陆中国深圳本色东门俱乐部！演出阵容是具有北极地下音乐味道的Cleaning
Women乐队、Ovali Virta乐队、Huoratron乐队和DJ Jori Hulkkonen。这些艺术家还将在
北京、上海和成都演出！
芬兰人对小玩意的喜爱和芬兰冷热气温悬殊的气候状况可能是芬兰拥有如此多地下电子乐
队的两个主要原因。音乐家们整个漫长的冬季都扑在他们的乐器上，从而找到制作音乐的
新方法。事实上，在一个小国家，不同种类音乐容易相互影响，从而可以带来意想不到的
结果和高度原创的音乐类型。也因此，电子音乐成为芬兰现代音乐中最令世人认可的音乐
之一，这次来中国演出的艺术家们，将运用令人惊讶、别具一格的乐器和手段、富有活力
和充满视觉效果的现场表演为深圳的广大乐迷展示精彩、前卫、时尚的芬兰现代音乐！
9月17日晚，让我们相聚深圳本色东门俱乐部，再度感受与国际先锋音乐文化零距离接触、
交流的无穷魅力！
The Sounds Like Suomi -tour is about to bring a heavy dose of beats and
experimental soundscapes to China from the Finnish capital Helsinki.
Finns' love of gadgets (read: Nokia) and the country's extreme weather
conditions could be the two major factors that have made Finland such a
fertile underground electronic music scene. The musicians spend their long
winters hibernating in front of their equipment, finding new ways of making
music. That, and the fact that in a small country different styles of music
of interact easily, often leads to unexpected solutions and highly original
music.
The bands on the Sounds Like Suomi -tour giving a taste of the arctic
underground will be Cleaning Women, Ovali Virta, Huoratron and Jori
Hulkkonen. They will play in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Shenzhen.
Cleaning Women乐队
Cleaning Women乐队以令人惊讶的现场表演著称。3位男士身着清洁女工的整
套衣服演奏家庭清洁工具，烘干架、洗衣机滚筒等等被改造成了电子乐器。他们的音乐已
经被冠以从“星际工业迪斯科摇滚乐”到“环绕非洲式连复段音乐”等的各种称号。
到目前为止，该乐队已经发行了2张专辑，在德国、西班牙、俄罗斯等世界各地进行了几百
场演出。另外，一部获得国际大奖的纪录片电影Cleaning Up!就是以该乐队的经历为原型
的。
Cleaning Women
It’s a group best known for its amazing, jaw-dropping live
performances. Three men dressed in matching cleaning lady outfits play
household cleaning equipment; drying racks, washing machine drums etc. that
are transformed into electric instruments. Their music has been called
everything from “Intergalactic industrial disco rock” to “ambient
afrotechno riff crunch”.
So far the band has released two albums and played hundreds of packed
art-house performances all around the world including Germany, Spain, Russia
etc.
Huoratron
Huoratron是一个人的音乐组合，Aku Raski是一位居住在赫尔辛基的作曲家、
制作人、艺术家，他活跃在赫尔辛基音乐舞台上。最近由荷兰唱片公司Bunker Records汇
编的唱片“Sound of Suomi—the electro sound of Finland”中就有Aku Raski两首不同
风格的歌曲Alpha Males和Nu Science。
Huoratron别具一格的乐器由2个Nintendo Gameboy风琴键盘组成。利用这些差不多快过时
的技术，并将其改变成完整的电子音乐作曲工具，是Huoratron独特原声背后的主要音乐元
素。
Huoratron概括了电子音乐和电子现场表现中的重要元素：一场高强度的演出包括多种视觉
元素和试验性音景。
Huoratron得到了媒体的高度关注，有关报道见诸于芬兰及国外很多出版物上。最近，Rask
i正忙于全世界个人现场巡演。他在挪威、俄罗斯、瑞典、美国和爱沙尼亚的巡回表演已经
成为了欧洲最富热情的现场表演之一。
Aku Raski也曾和一些香港歌手一起制作了一些音乐合集。
Huoratron
Huoratron is a musical project of one man, Aku Raski, a Helsinki-based
composer, producer and artist, active in the Helsinki music scene.
Huoratron's key instruments are two hand-held Nintendo Gameboy consoles. The
consoles are modified so that they create more distorted, rough sounds and
heavy bass - not the usual feature of Nintendo Gameboys. Using these nearly
obsolete pieces of 80's gaming technology, and turning them into
full-fledged electronic music composing tools, is the main ingredient behind
Huoratron's unique raw sound.
Huoratron encapsulates what is valued in electronic music and electronic
live shows; a highly intensive performance consisting of massive explosion
of visuals and experimental arcade game soundscapes.
OVALI VIRTA乐队
Ovali Virta乐队的音乐是独立摇滚乐和电子乐的融合，该乐队的名字来自于对一个
名叫Ovali Virta芬兰探戈歌手名字的误拼，Ovali Virta是芬兰最伟大的探戈歌手（由于
某些特殊原因，探戈在芬兰的受欢迎程度就像在阿根廷一样大）。
该乐队的乐器包括电子合成器、电吉他、萨克斯管、取样器、定序器以及多样效果。音乐

Ovali Virta
The group's name comes from a misspelled name of a Finnish tango singer
called Olavi Virta, the greatest finnish tango singer of all times (For some
strange reason tango is as huge in Finland as in Argentina). So it's fitting
that the bands Beijing concert will be held at club Tango.
The music of Ovali Virta is a combination of indierock and electro performed
with analog synthesizers, electric guitars, saxophones, samplers, sequencers
and multiple effects.

angular electro like they were in downtown New York circa 1983... have come
up with an quirkily satisfying solution to the perennial problem of how to
make electronic music look interesting live”

DJ Jori Hulkkonen
芬兰最著名的DJ—Jori Hulkkonen自1996年以来已经为著名的法国电子音乐名厂牌
F-Com录制了5张专辑。他的第5张、也是至今为止最富有冒险精神和抱负的专辑——Dualiz
m刚刚面世，并已在全球音乐界获得了好评。
除了以上专辑之外，还有很多混合专辑：Goldfrapp, Nigel Hayes, Telepopmusik等等。
另外，他还经常在全世界各地进行短期表演：从新加坡到圣保罗，从香港到旧金山到莫斯
科到蒙特利尔。
